1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Study the Word ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.

2. Description of Service

Study the Word is a multi-tenant Bible study and church ministry management platform that enables churches to:

• Create and manage church communities
• Organize ministries and study groups
• Schedule and coordinate events
• Facilitate communication among members
• Process donations and payments
• Track attendance and member engagement

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Distribute harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent

5. SMS/Text Message Terms

By providing your phone number to Study the Word and confirming your enrollment via verification code, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from the platform on behalf of your church. You understand and agree that:

• You will receive transactional and informational SMS messages related to your church membership, including event reminders, emergency alerts, group coordination, and verification codes
• Message frequency varies; you may receive approximately 2-20 messages per month
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message
• You may get help by replying HELP to any message
• Opting out of SMS does not cancel your Study the Word account or church membership
• Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using the platform's web features
• Emergency alerts from your church may be sent regardless of group-level pause preferences, but will always respect a STOP opt-out

Study the Word is not responsible for messages that are delayed or undelivered due to carrier network issues, device settings, or incorrect phone numbers.

6. Church and Group Management

Church administrators and group leaders are responsible for:

• Managing membership requests and approvals appropriately
• Ensuring content shared within their communities is appropriate
• Complying with all applicable privacy laws regarding member data
• Maintaining accurate financial records for donations received

7. Payments and Donations

The Platform facilitates donation processing through third-party payment providers. By making a donation:

• You authorize the specified charge to your payment method
• You acknowledge that donations are processed by the receiving church organization
• Refund requests should be directed to the specific church organization

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by KG ProDesign LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with providing the Platform services.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall KG ProDesign LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Platform.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
